I work on MRI biomarkers of Alzheimer's disease at the Montreal Neurological Institute. My doctoral research developed the hippocampal-to-ventricle ratio (HVR), a measure of medial-temporal atrophy that does not depend on head size, and tested it against age and cognition across Alzheimer's and Parkinson's cohorts. I also built Qrater, an open-source tool for quality control of large MRI datasets, now used in several labs.
I trained in psychology and then neurobiology in Mexico before moving to Montréal in 2020.
